The Challenge
NovaPay was operating in an overcrowded fintech market with no clear differentiator. Their existing brand felt like every other payments app — generic iconography, safe blue palette, forgettable typography. Conversion was struggling and enterprise clients weren’t taking them seriously.
Our Approach
We started with a two-week discovery phase, interviewing their top 20 clients and 50 end-users. The insight was consistent: NovaPay was trusted, reliable, and fast — but nobody felt that when they looked at the product.
Phase 1: Brand Foundation
We rebuilt the brand from the ground up — new wordmark, type system, color palette, and iconography. The new identity communicates precision and confidence without sacrificing warmth.
Phase 2: Product Redesign
With the brand locked, we redesigned the core product flows — onboarding, dashboard, transactions, and settings. Every screen was designed in Figma and handed off with a component library of 200+ elements.
Phase 3: Design System
The final deliverable was a fully documented design system, complete with usage guidelines, do’s and don’ts, and Figma tokens mapped to production CSS variables.
